1. Introduction

Welcome to Libraryinseconds ("Platform", "Website", "we", "our", or "us"), operated by Zenrio Technologies.

Our Platform helps users discover libraries across India by providing searchable listings, location information, facilities, contact details, and other related information.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, including any websites, applications, content, features, communications, and services that we make available.

By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, submitting information, claiming a library, or otherwise interacting with our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, subject to Section 4 (Eligibility) below.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

Account means a registered account created on the Platform.

Claim means the process through which a person requests authority to manage a library listing.

Claimed Library means a library listing whose ownership or management has been verified by the Platform.

Content includes text, photographs, logos, images, reviews, descriptions, documents, videos (where supported), graphics, metadata, and any other material submitted or displayed on the Platform.

Library means a study library, reading room, study centre, or similar establishment listed on the Platform.

Library Owner means the owner or an authorised representative who has successfully completed the Platform's verification process.

Platform means Libraryinseconds, including its website and related services.

User means any person who visits, browses, registers for, or otherwise uses the Platform.

3. Acceptance of these Terms

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

you have read these Terms;
you understand these Terms;
you agree to comply with these Terms;
you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of India.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation or library, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Electronic acceptance of these Terms, including by clicking an acceptance button or creating an account, constitutes a valid and binding agreement.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or claim a library.

You may browse publicly available library listings without creating an account.

Certain features, including claiming a library, submitting reviews (when available), reporting issues, or suggesting edits, may require registration.

If you are under the age of 18, you may browse publicly available library listings, but you must not create an account, submit content, claim a library, or otherwise purport to be bound by these Terms. Any such browsing is deemed to occur under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who shall be responsible for that use on your behalf. Nothing in this Section affects any rights you may have under applicable Indian law relating to the processing of a child's personal data, which are addressed in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts that do not meet our eligibility requirements.

5. Purpose of the Platform

The Platform is an online directory designed to help users discover libraries across India.

During Phase 1, the Platform allows users to:

search for libraries;
browse library listings;
view library information;
locate libraries using search and maps;
report inaccurate information;
suggest edits;
submit new library listings;
claim ownership of existing listings.

The Platform does not currently provide:

online bookings;
online payments;
subscription services;
library management software.

If such services are introduced in the future, they will be governed by separate agreements.

6. User Accounts

Users may browse the Platform without creating an account.

Registration is required to access certain features made available by the Platform.

Each user may maintain only one personal account unless expressly authorised by us.

You agree to:

provide accurate information;
keep your information up to date;
maintain the security of your account credentials;
notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove duplicate, fraudulent, or inactive accounts.

7. Library Owner Accounts

Only verified library owners or authorised staff approved through our verification process may manage library listings.

A library owner may authorise additional staff members to access the listing.

The library owner remains responsible for all actions taken by authorised staff.

The Platform may require re-verification at any time where reasonably necessary.

8. Claiming a Library Listing

Ownership claims are governed by our Owner Claim Terms & Conditions, which form part of these Terms.

Submission of a claim does not guarantee approval.

We may request supporting documentation and conduct manual verification before granting management access.

Where multiple parties claim the same library, we may investigate and determine the appropriate claimant based on available evidence.

9. Adding a New Library

Users or library owners may submit new library listings subject to our review.

Submission of a listing does not guarantee publication.

We reserve the right to verify, modify, reject, merge, or remove submitted listings where reasonably necessary.

10. Library Listings

Library information may originate from:

library owners;
authorised representatives;
user suggestions;
publicly available lawful sources;
information independently verified by the Platform.

Although we strive to keep listings accurate, we do not guarantee that every listing is complete, current, or error-free.

Users should independently verify important information before relying on any listing.

The Platform reserves the right to:

edit listings for formatting or clarity;
improve categories;
optimise listings for search;
generate AI-assisted summaries;
merge duplicate listings;
remove unlawful or inaccurate content.

A library may remain listed on the Platform even if it is unclaimed or an owner chooses not to manage the listing, provided we have a lawful basis to display factual business information.

11. User Responsibilities

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to use it lawfully, responsibly, and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree that you will:

provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account or interacting with the Platform;
use the Platform only for legitimate and lawful purposes;
maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials;
promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account;
respect the intellectual property and legal rights of others;
comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Platform.

You agree that you will not:

create multiple user accounts without our written permission;
impersonate another person, library, organization, or business;
submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or inaccurate information;
upload viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, or any harmful software;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, its servers, databases, APIs, or user accounts;
interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or availability of the Platform;
use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, scrapers, spiders, or similar technologies to access, monitor, copy, or collect data from the Platform without our prior written permission;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of any part of the Platform except where expressly permitted by applicable law;
copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit any substantial portion of the Platform or its database without our written permission;
upload or distribute unlawful, defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable content;
post, upload, or share any content that is invasive of another person's privacy, including bodily privacy;
post, upload, or share any content that is harmful to children in any manner;
post, upload, or share any content that promotes gambling, betting, or money laundering, or that is otherwise contrary to the laws in force in India;
post, upload, or share any content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or that incites the commission of any cognisable offence;
deceive or mislead the addressee about the origin of a message, or knowingly and intentionally communicate any information that is patently false or untrue with the intent to mislead or harass a person, entity, or agency, for financial gain or to cause injury to any person;
infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party;
manipulate search rankings, reviews, ratings, or library information;
attempt to claim ownership of a library without proper authorization;
misuse any reporting, feedback, or suggestion mechanisms provided by the Platform;
engage in any activity that may adversely affect other users, library owners, or the integrity of the Platform.

Violation of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

12. Library Owner Responsibilities

Verified Library Owners and their authorized staff have additional responsibilities.

By claiming or managing a library listing, you agree that:

you are authorized to act on behalf of the library;
all information submitted by you is accurate, complete, and up to date;
you will promptly update information whenever material changes occur;
all uploaded photographs, logos, descriptions, and other content are owned by you or used with appropriate permission;
your content does not infringe the intellectual property or legal rights of any third party;
you will not knowingly submit misleading, false, or deceptive information;
you will cooperate with reasonable verification requests made by the Platform;
you will immediately inform us if you no longer have authority to manage the library listing;
you are responsible for supervising all staff members whom you authorize to access your library listing;
you will maintain the confidentiality of owner and staff account credentials.

Library Owners remain responsible for all actions taken through their owner account and any staff accounts associated with their library.

13. User-Generated Content

The Platform may allow users and library owners to submit content, including:

photographs;
logos;
library descriptions;
suggested edits;
reviews;
ratings;
comments;
contact information;
other information relating to libraries.

You remain the owner of your original content.

By submitting content to the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:

host;
store;
reproduce;
publish;
display;
distribute;
technically modify;
resize;
optimize;
translate;
create AI-assisted summaries based on the submitted information;
use such content for the operation, improvement, promotion, and marketing of the Platform.

This license continues for as long as your content remains on the Platform and for any reasonable archival, legal, backup, or compliance purposes.

You represent and warrant that:

you own the content or have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it;
the content is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
the content does not violate any applicable law;
the content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, edit, reject, remove, or disable any content that we reasonably believe:

violates these Terms;
violates applicable law;
infringes third-party rights;
contains false or misleading information;
contains spam or malicious content;
may negatively affect the safety, integrity, or reputation of the Platform.

If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please submit a complaint in accordance with our Copyright & Intellectual Property Complaint Policy, which explains how such complaints are reviewed and actioned.

14. Reviews, Ratings and Suggested Edits

Where available, registered users may submit reviews, ratings, and suggested corrections for library listings.

Users submitting reviews or ratings agree that:

reviews must reflect their genuine experience or opinion;
reviews must not contain knowingly false or misleading statements;
reviews must not include abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful content;
reviews must not be submitted in exchange for undisclosed compensation or incentives;
users may submit only one review per genuine experience unless otherwise permitted by the Platform.

Library Owners may not edit or remove user reviews.

The Platform may investigate and remove reviews or ratings that appear to be:

fake;
fraudulent;
manipulated;
abusive;
defamatory;
irrelevant;
unlawful;
generated through spam or automated means.

Users may submit suggested edits to improve listing accuracy.

Submission of a suggested edit does not guarantee publication.

The Platform reserves the right to verify, modify, reject, or publish suggested edits at its sole discretion.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Platform and all rights relating to it are owned by or licensed to Zenrio Technologies.

This includes, without limitation:

the Platform's name;
branding;
logos;
software;
source code;
database structure;
search functionality;
website design;
layouts;
graphics;
icons;
text created by the Platform;
AI-generated summaries;
metadata;
compilations;
documentation.

These materials are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not:

copy;
reproduce;
republish;
distribute;
modify;
create derivative works from;
commercially exploit;
scrape;
mine;
extract;
mirror;
reverse engineer; or
otherwise use any substantial portion of the Platform or its database without our prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights from the Platform to any user or library owner.

Library Owners retain ownership of the original content they upload, subject to the license granted under Section 13.

16. Platform Rights

To ensure the quality, accuracy, security, and integrity of the Platform, we reserve the right to exercise editorial, administrative, and operational control over all aspects of the Platform.

Without limiting our other rights under these Terms, we may:

review, verify, modify, or reject any library listing;
edit content for grammar, spelling, formatting, readability, or consistency;
reorganize listings into appropriate categories;
update tags, metadata, keywords, and SEO-related information;
optimize listing titles for search engine visibility;
generate AI-assisted summaries or descriptions based on information provided by library owners or other lawful sources;
merge duplicate library listings;
remove duplicate or obsolete information;
update map locations where appropriate;
temporarily hide or permanently remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law;
request additional verification from library owners;
suspend or revoke ownership access where reasonably necessary;
introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue Platform features at any time.

Nothing in these Terms obligates the Platform to publish or continue publishing any specific content or listing.

17. Search Results and Rankings

The order in which libraries appear on the Platform is determined using various factors selected by the Platform.

Search rankings may be influenced by factors including:

relevance to the user's search;
location;
completeness of listing information;
verification status;
quality of submitted information;
platform quality signals;
user experience considerations;
technical optimization;
other factors determined by the Platform.

The Platform may modify ranking algorithms at any time without prior notice.

Library Owners cannot purchase, negotiate, or otherwise demand a particular search position unless expressly offered through a future advertising or promotional program governed by separate terms.

The Platform does not guarantee:

search ranking;
listing visibility;
homepage placement;
recommendation priority;
user traffic;
enquiries;
business growth.

The Platform does not employ deceptive design patterns ("dark patterns") of the kind identified in the Central Consumer Protection Authority's Guidelines for Prevention and Regulation of Dark Patterns, 2023 — including false urgency, forced action, or manipulation of reviews or ratings — to influence a user's decisions. Search rankings reflect the factors described in this Section and are not influenced by undisclosed commercial arrangements.

18. Communications

By creating an account or interacting with the Platform, you consent to receive communications from us through appropriate channels, including:

email;
SMS;
telephone;
WhatsApp;
in-platform notifications;
website announcements; and
other reasonable electronic communication methods.

These communications may relate to:

account verification;
security alerts;
ownership verification;
policy updates;
platform updates;
customer support;
technical notifications;
legal notices;
service announcements.

Where required by applicable law, marketing or promotional communications will be sent only in accordance with your applicable preferences or consent.

You are responsible for ensuring that your contact information remains accurate and current.

19. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection, use, storage, disclosure, and protection of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that:

you have read our Privacy Policy;
you understand how your personal information is handled;
our Privacy Policy — not this acknowledgment — governs how your personal data is collected, used, and otherwise processed, and, where applicable law requires your consent for such processing, that consent will be sought separately and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms modifies or limits the rights available to you under our Privacy Policy or applicable law.

20. Disclaimer

The Platform is intended to provide users with information about libraries located across India.

Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and useful information, the Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that:

every library listing is accurate;
every listing is complete;
information is always current;
facilities, timings, pricing, or contact details remain unchanged;
every library continues to operate;
the Platform will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Information displayed on the Platform may originate from:

library owners;
authorized representatives;
user submissions;
publicly available lawful sources;
independent verification conducted by the Platform.

Users are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before relying upon it or making any personal or business decisions.

The Platform does not endorse, certify, recommend, or guarantee:

the quality of any library;
the suitability of any library for a particular purpose;
the accuracy of statements made by library owners;
the conduct of any library owner, employee, or representative.

Any communication, interaction, or arrangement between a user and a library is solely between those parties unless expressly stated otherwise in separate agreements.

The Platform is not responsible for disputes arising between users and libraries.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, maps, social media pages, or external services.

We do not control or endorse third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, or accuracy.

From time to time, we may introduce experimental or beta features.

Such features are provided on an "as is" basis and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued without notice.

Nothing contained on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, business, or professional advice.

Users should seek appropriate professional advice before relying upon any information obtained from the Platform.

21. Account Suspension

To protect the Platform, its users, library owners, and the integrity of our services, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend or permanently disable any account or restrict access to any feature where reasonably necessary.

We may suspend or restrict an account, with or without prior notice, in circumstances including but not limited to:

violation of these Terms;
submission of false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
impersonation of another individual or organization;
unauthorized attempts to claim a library;
misuse of Platform features;
abusive or unlawful conduct;
infringement of intellectual property rights;
suspected security incidents;
unauthorized access attempts;
spam or automated activity;
compliance with applicable law, court orders, or government directions;
any activity that may adversely affect the security, integrity, or reputation of the Platform.

Where appropriate, we may request additional information or verification before restoring access.

Suspension of an account does not prevent us from taking any other action available under these Terms or applicable law.

22. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time.

You may request deletion of your account in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Deletion of an account does not automatically remove:

library listings;
factual business information lawfully displayed by the Platform;
reviews that may remain in anonymized form where appropriate;
records that we are required or permitted to retain under applicable law.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts or discontinue access to the Platform where reasonably necessary, including where:

these Terms are materially violated;
fraud or illegal activity is detected;
required verification cannot be completed;
continued access presents a security or legal risk.

Termination does not affect any rights, obligations, or liabilities that arose before termination.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zenrio Technologies, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

your access to or use of the Platform;
inability to access the Platform;
incorrect, incomplete, or outdated listing information;
actions or omissions of library owners or users;
interruptions, delays, or technical failures;
unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to protect your credentials;
loss of business opportunities, profits, goodwill, or data;
third-party websites or services linked from the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

24. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zenrio Technologies, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from or relating to:

your breach of these Terms;
your violation of applicable law;
content uploaded or submitted by you;
infringement of any third-party intellectual property or other legal rights by your content or actions;
false or misleading information provided by you;
unauthorized use of another person's identity or business;
misuse of the Platform.

This indemnity applies only to matters arising from your own actions or omissions and does not extend to matters solely caused by the Platform.

25. Force Majeure

The Platform shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control.

Such events may include, without limitation:

natural disasters;
floods;
earthquakes;
fire;
pandemics;
epidemics;
war;
terrorism;
civil unrest;
governmental actions;
court orders;
strikes;
internet outages;
telecommunications failures;
cyberattacks;
cloud infrastructure failures;
power failures; or
other events beyond our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to restore services as soon as practicable.

26. Changes to these Terms

We may update or revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in:

applicable law;
Platform features;
security practices;
operational requirements; or
business needs.

When material changes are made, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through appropriate channels, including email or a notice on the Platform.

The latest version of these Terms will always be published on the Platform with its effective date.

Your continued use of the Platform after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

In accordance with Rule 3(1)(c) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we will periodically, and at least once every year, inform registered users of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the consequences of non-compliance with them.

27. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory legal rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

28. Jurisdiction

Subject to applicable law, the courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

30. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Owner Claim Terms & Conditions, and any other policies or guidelines expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Platform regarding your use of the Platform.

They supersede all prior discussions, communications, representations, understandings, or agreements relating to the same subject matter.

Failure by the Platform to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.
